Blood Pressure Checks
Blood pressure checks are available at the AAHFS office during regular office hours; or at your home by appointment.
Walking Club
Every Monday and Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:45 AM at the Atwater Community Center; join us and walk at your own pace in a temperature-controlled environment. AAHFS staff will keep track of your steps and miles, if you choose. Set your own goals as well as participate in walking challenges, such as the number of steps to reach a designated location in the USA.
Stay Active and Independent for Life (SAIL)
SAIL is a free strength, balance, and fitness program held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:45 to 10:45 AM at the Atwater Community Center; newcomers of all skill and fitness levels are welcome to join the class at any time.
Exercises and weight training are designed to help in fall prevention and protect against fractures by increasing bone density, balance, and strength. Participants begin slowly and increase the routine at their own pace. Challenge yourself to find out what a difference it can make in your strength and mobility!
Exercise Program
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Atwater Community Center; variety of exercises, based on Pilates and yoga, done to video and with volunteer guidance. Open to anyone interested; come as often as you're able.

Eight-week series of 2-hour classes based on an evidence-proven program to increase flexibility, balance, and strength; improve confidence; and provide skills in fall prevention.
Powerful Tools for Caregivers
Six-week series of 90-minute classes provides valuable resources to equip family caregivers to take care of themselves while caring for a loved one.
Wellness Expo
